this school year has been such a blur. its been great. the house is the shit, we've already thrown a couple rockers, going to bucks games is the greatest, and classes are going well so far.
tonight there was a huge-ass storm that came through columbus and we had a tornado warning and the sirens went off and there was golfball sized hail. i took some decent video of it. afterwards we ordered a pizza and played starcraft till now. what a sweet wednesday
weekend starts tomorrow
shaka brah!

This weekend was crazy shit. last party weekend of the freshman year! in 8 days, i will be finally out and ready to go back to Mentor and TEAR SHIT UP!
you kids better be ready to get crazy! im looking at you tony rizzo!
on friday, we all got irresponsibly drunk and threw a table, a tape deck, and numerous other things off chase's balcony. that was nuts. they all broke.
unfortunatly for us, everyone at ohio state except like 4 students and 2 staff went home for this gorgeous weekend. so saturday we just watched tv. however on sunday jake visited and brought some dude so me chase molitor and those two had a little(lot) grünerfrieden and had a great time.
now its monday and im honoring veterans by smoking a Lucky Strike, the cigarette that got us through the second world war. who says liberals arent patriotic?
time to go into a study coma this week.

- n-gage

edit: i also saw the DaVinci Code this weekend. i learned my irrational fear of albinos wasnt so irational after all. those people are evil! and catholics are still nuts.

another weekend down! timmo joey russ and "backdoor" tony rizzo came down on thursday and we all had a grand time. jager was drank in multiple 12-ounce servings. friday night was pretty awesome as well, tim papp hosted some shananigans, and i got really fucked up and re-strung my entire guitar. saturday laura joined the greenpeace club and we painted some tripped out paintings, and then i went to kajfez's and had a very, very interesting time.

i bought the new Raconteurs cd, and it is solid catchy rock that wont bum you out. i suggest getting it and supporting jack white so he can continue to pay his court costs when he beats the shit out of posers like that dude from the von bondies.
Also, they are coming August 6th to the house of blues, so anybody who wants to go to that,
lets do it.

2 weeks and some change left
24 finale tomorrow, lets see if Jack Bauer will kill the president, that would be badass
peace duders!

    <lj:music>pyramid song - radiohead</lj:music>

ah, the last weekend before break.
On friday i went to lunch with my german TA and some friends from class, and he inspired me to minor in German. If i get good enough i can teach english in germany or be a translator and make mad cash. They also have free education for citizens and foriegners alike, so i could get a masters or something over there free of charge. good shit. that night i went to bobs house and drank myself into fun-blivion. it was great, i hadnt really drank with those people in a while, and their place is good times for sure. bob's coming on the odessey of st patty's day with us. its gonna rule. Saturday Tim papp had us over for irish delights and a bucks victory. Dude makes a meaaannn corned beef. Céad Míle Fáilte!! After that i was expecting nothing fun to happen, but soft! brandon's light from yonder window broke. we played mario kart, walked like 4 miles to giant eagle, and then we decided to get sedated at mirror lake. what a night!
today the bucks lost to iowa. sucks.
finals this week. home's within reach.

Today was a great day in OSU history. It was nice and warm, and on a whim laura and I went out and about the town and went to used kids. I found sgt. peppers for 2.50! now my collection of beatles albums is complete, from peppers to let it be. after that we met up with kajfez and chase and had a free comedy show to go watch about gamekillers, a.k.a. Koch Blochers. It was Mo Rocca! He was hilarious for sure. After the concert, I asked him to sign my Beatles record and got the best "what the fuck" look i've ever gotten. Then he signed it after approving of my music taste. it was rad as hell. after that i watched garden state again at the chase residence and realized that many of the scenes set up in that movie are hilarious, one just has to think about them. After that we went to burritos noches, and i got to walk home in the rain, which is awesome. nice weather rules.

    <lj:music>FANTASIA ON THE DARGAZON</lj:music>

So tonight is the night which glorifies all that is american theater, the oscars.
Many excellent movies were honored, however, The Mummy and Twister were both mysteriously overlooked.
The highlight of the night for me was when the song "Its hard out here for a pimp" was performed for the best originial song category, which glorifies the important american job of a man selling women for sex and beating them. And then it won. Ah, the three six mafia. Stephen Colbert did some awesome voice-overs and Jon Stewart was hilarious.
anyways, i got bored halfway through the cinamatographer award and switched to boondocks. good choice.

march 17th, im going barhopping in the flats. we should get a huge group together, and then we can watch the parade. afterwards we can head back to my house and drunk around.
itll be an adventure...nay....a fantasia.....on the dargazon.
who's with me?

one more week of class, 2 days of finals, and im nailing winter quarter to the cross. i can almost taste the sweet spring break air.
